Long-shot, but it points to Marco Rubio
This might be the best bet to uncover wrongdoing on Rubio:

Greer goes public; Says credit-card spending was status quo

Well, GOP leaders knew this was coming. Embattled and indicted former GOP boss Jim Greer has decided to go public with his version of how lavish spending was not only allowed — but demanded – by party leaders.

In the piece by WTSP’s Mike Deeson – the first of two parts – Greer maintains that leaders of the Florida House and Senate were the ones who first explained to him that they were allowed to spend extravagantly, using party credit cards. Greer says he was told: “If we wanna have baseball games, limousines, five-star hotels, don’t you or anyone else tell us we can’t.”

I’m not sure Greer – who begins the segment weeping – comes out looking much (or any) better than he went in … or that he has much credibility with folks on either side of the aisle.

But I’m also pretty sure Republicans like Dean Cannon and Marco Rubio – who are now again making headlines for their purchases of everything from suits and fancy dinners to new flooring for their own houses – don’t look too good either. Especially since much of the spending isn’t merely accusations from Greer, but rather documented by receipts that have already been viewed by both the public and investigators.
