I'm sorry, but you can't place blame on right wing rhetoric for a violent act unless that violent act is done by an otherwise reasonable and sane person. Someone who ISN'T mentally ill, but kills in the name of that cause.
This guy is mentally ill. He could potentially have been spurred on by, oh, I don't know, a song like Helter Skelter. Would The Beatles be to blame?
People are dead because a man with problems went postal. Words, no matter how vile they might be, did not cause him to go pull that trigger. His illness did.

It encourages them to rise to the cause....fear and be afraid rhetoric becomes their call to duty....paranoia runs rampant.

They just built the fire and handed a crazy person the matchbook.

9. It sounds like you know very little about mental illness. I could be wrong. |
|

I heard from several psychiatrists today. There are several hundred thousand schizophrenics in our country today. Most are being treated. A mentally ill person can be influenced by propaganda, particularly incessant propaganda. The majority of right wing propagandists own the airwaves.
I hear the word 'crazy' thrown around a lot. Mentally ill people are not crazy. It takes a conscious effort to be crazy. Hannity, Limbaugh, Beck and Savage are dangerous and crazy to say the things they say.

Would a sane person vote against their best interest?? Would a sane person refuse to consider looking at facts??
