8. Too bad she'll never get it.
But today we saw a prime example of exactly how Gov. Quitter would handle a national crisis. Even I was surprised that she ranted for 8 laborious minutes about herself being a victim.

Let's all love each other works in some situations. Not in the current situation.

65. You got dat right!
I'll tone myself down, when THEY tone themselves down. They started it, they can finish it. I was nice for a long time.
You know, it's like if you get bullied. You have to stand up to the bully, or they will never back down. I don't think that the Cons will back down for a New York minute. Caribou Barbie made a statement that was supposed to be "civil," and what was it? It was an antisemitic dog whistle to her base. Rather than take responsibility, she pleads that she's the victim, along with the rest of them.

The clapping and cheering has become more somber and respectful. People are listening to him and forgetting to just spontaneously clap at every period. He is an amazing speaker and great man with a truly positive message.

I wasn't expecting the party after the service,I was expecting the service. The students are very enthusiastic. I actually am thinking now about the crowds who cheered on the Trade Center rescue workers every day. It was a positive and encouraging thing to do, I know that is their intent here tonight. And this is a damn good speech!

70. Exactly. But even in this thread, there are some that have allowed the point of the speech
to fly wildly over their heads as they castigate the president for not putting adequate blame on the Republicans as if a) that will solve one damn thing and b) Obama is not president of Republicans as well.

Only by the rest of us doing our hardest to remove and/or significantly minimize fringe elements will this country survive.
