The latest "Google Doodle" for Freddie Mercury's 65'th, is wicked cool....
I have my problems with Google. But damn they can be creative. The latest "Google Doodle" celebrates what would have been Freddie Mercury's (from Queen) 65th birthday. The graphics have an appropriate early-80's retro feel, with good quality audio to back it up. (warning: if you are on dial-up, it will take a min to load). He was a genius, and an artist (and I don't use those terms lightly).

Oddly, it is not available on Google in the US. But here's a link to google.uk to see it in all it's glory. (just click the "play" button in the logo)

2. That is great....
I pulled out that old Live Aid concert dvd a few months back--Freddie Mercury absolutely owned that entire benefit concert with his performance. It was amazing. 'Hard to believe he'd have been 65. Damn!
