In some senses, he's the anti-Cheney.
I must confess I'd forgotten about the bankruptcy bill, mentioned above, but on the other hand, he p]was the senior senator from Delaware at the time, and Delaware is home to various credit card companies. But still...

15. He is about as opposite of Cheney as you could get. |

But sometimes I think he's much too mild. He does seem very kind and sensitive and I can tell he appreciates women. He's really very lovely.

14. I'm tempted to unrec a thread that begins, "K&R if..." |
|
But I'll give Joe a pass. It's actually one of your better threads...even if it is a 'Zoco Loco,' or whatever you call it. :)
I rec'd.

of sleepless nights, wondering how badly Cheney had screwed the country and what he was plotting next. I can honestly say that it's never occured to me to have such thoughts about Biden.
That said, long before Obama arrived on the scene Joe Biden was on my list of preferences for the Oval Office; he still could be.
We have a Veep who isn't interested in destroying the country, and that's a big fucking deal.

18. No rec but no unrec either since he was the one that wrote the assult weapons ban bill |
|
And I wasn't too happy with that one especially since it cost the Democrats the 94 elections.
And the bankruptcy bill wasn't too cool either.
But I don't hate him or anything so I'm not going to unrec but I do hate these kind of self fulfilling threads: "K&R if you blah blah blah".

20. I actually contributed to his presidential campaign. |
|
He was definitely the most qualified. I used to love Joe Biden.
But unless he has been bound & gagged since the election, there's no damn
excuse for his silence every time Obama throws us under the bus.
