GOP claim: Scariest thing a citizen can hear is, "I'm from the fire dept. and here to help you."
oops...I mean..."I'm an emergency worker and I'm here to help you."

oops...I mean..."I'm from the federal government and I'm here to help you."

Oh hell....GOP claims are full of shit, anyway, especially when GOP governors need firefighters, emergency workers and federal assistance in their own state.

1. I agree it is!
Teabaggers should pick themselves up by their bootstraps, get the garden hose out when their house is ablaze and spray away!

"Fuck you, sea-pigs, and your gubmint-run navigation aids! I've put in a call to my private glub glub glub sputter blorp blurp glilp."

3. Five hundred homes have burned in Texas.
I hope they have good insurance and managed to get out on their own. Wonder how far the fire will spread without firefighters.

4. Funny thing is, the last Federal government employee that helped was at the IRS.
I was transferring a 2290 tax paid on one commercial vehicle over to another, as I had to have the new VIN on the tax form or I could not purchase a new base plate from my state for the new vehicle.

She was very helpful, took her time to make sure everything was done correctly.

I wrote to the IRS and told them what a great help she had been.

7. The IRS gets me a wad of cash every other year
Because every other year I forget to multiply the standard deduction by 2. They catch it, send me more money, then mail me a letter saying they were doing it.

:-)

15. That's never been uttered.
They're all about helping themselves. You? You can go fuck yourself. (not you, specifically, Bandit. I love you. But that's their attitude towards everyone but themselves)

10. Why do Republicons HATE America's firefighters?

You think the Republicons would have some basic respect for America's firefighters, especially now that Texas is burning up because Republicon slashed Lone Star firefighting resources to give special bennies to their FatCat Republicon PuppetMasters.

14. Cannot agree. If Republicons loved America they would show it.
All they show is hate toward America and Americans. Small minds. Dessicated souls.

12. There's a saying down in Texas. Maybe you have it in Tennessee. ''Fool me once. Shame on. You...
...Fool me. Uh. Twice. Shame on. Uh. Shame on. Ah. Shame on. Won't get fooled again to help you!"
