1. K&R, petition signed. I used to live in Santa Rosa and know Gualala well...
it is a fucking crime what is being done to Northern California. What was once a wildly diverse area with ancient forests, clear streams, farms, ranches, vineyards, orchards, and small towns, is fast becoming a mono-crop culture (or maybe duo-crop...it's vineyards and suburbs, 24/7)

4. Except for Northern California
we have a noticeable scarcity of vineyards up here, especially in Sonoma County. :sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm:

3. to destroy something that is irreplacebable with something superficial
is really a sign of our times. These assholes have no concept of preservation or of how depleting our environment effects EVERYTHING around it. Fucking greedy and dumb!

5. That's just wrong on so many levels.
For one thing, coastal redwood habitat is too cold and foggy to make for decent wine grape growing conditions.

6. This is the next ridge in from the coast, with cool nights
