How did they get my phone number???
Wow. I was just called on my home phone number and asked to join the nolabels.com telephone call. Basically, the CEO of Starbucks spoke about the need to change the political dynamics and address the country's problems. I'm wondering if he plans to run for office. What little I heard sounded reasonable and fairly progressive.

But why was I called? Which phone list or database did they buy to find my number? I know you can't block political phone calls but is this organization included? I wouldn't think so.

1. States sell your driver's license info
I recently moved to a new property. I was the FIRST PERSON to live at this address. I did, in fact, put up the first mailbox to this address.

A couple months went by, and I finally got around to changing the address on my license. Within a month, I was getting junk mail.

2. I find there are very loose definitions of political groups and charities.
And then there are the ones that just ignore your privacy and do not call lists.

4. Contact the list of groups that you make political contributions to.
Some pass on phone lists of people that they see as having a particular philosophy.

5. Good idea, although I think it's from some Democratic list.
I seem to get non-stop calls from Dem orgs asking for money.

6. Who knows. Landlines by default are published and sold. How they knew your political persuasion...

7. Don't know but
my sister signed me up but I was on the phone when it started so I missed it. I know she recharges her Starbucks card online so that is where they got her email address.

I think Schultz is making sense. Glad to see he is using his position to implore our politicians to return to sanity.

And a staffer for sell-out Evan Bayh.

No thanks, the DLC has done enough damage to the Democratic Party.
