Anyone seen"C.S.A.-The Confederate States Of America"?
I have it on in the background while I putter about the apartment, and listening and checking it now & then.

Wow... it is a complete and utter trip, I will have to sit down and watch the whole thing. I caught Lincoln's fate, and WWII. Just got through an interesting take on the cold war commie paranoia, and now JFK and Nixon are about to have a presidential debate. I think I know where this is going!

Has anyone else seen this? If so, what did you think?

2. A great idea that failed almost entirely in its execution
Turned into an absolute snooze.

5. I agree in part.
The first half: From conquering the North thru reconstruction was pretty good. There seemed to be more effort in trying to provide a believable senario and reactions from historical figures and "experts".

The second half: They seemed to try to force-fit video into a senario. Relying too much on "plays & movies" made it cheesy.

4. As someone who lives in TN and whose brother has a "Sons of Confederate Veterans" bumper sticker,
I'm really not sure I want to watch this. I see enough of people talking about how great the south is and how "the south will rise again." I swear it's hard being a leftist in this place. Anyone in New York or California want to take me in as a refuge?

7. Relax - it's a mockumentary. With help from Spike Lee.
I thought "CSA" was pretty good, especially the "alternate history" parts. Like in WWII, the CSA originally supporting Nazi Germany. But changing its mind when it found out about Hitler's Final Solution, because it preferred exploiting minorities to killing them.

I'm a former South Carolinian who emigrated to Los Angeles years ago, so I feel your pain.

6. I'm glad I caught the end of it
I was unaware of how much actual history they included.

8. I've only seen part and it still disturbs me
Living in the South, there are far too many people who would love to have that as their reality. Sure, there are plenty of liberals who aren't that way, but it's still disturbing.
