I know Roemer has no chance
But that is what a moderate republican used to look like.

They are almost extinct. And his diagnosis is right on nose..PAC money.

1. Yep, I just listened to him. Yep, moderate republicans were OK. One could
broker a deal with them and they weren't loons either.

4. he'll never get my vote for president
but i'm seriously thinking about making a small contribution to his campaign to support his stand against PAC money. He needs to be heard.

9. You will NEVER hear me say this about any other Rethug, but I actually liked that man.
He is SANE. He knows there's a huge problem in this country. He admits it! He knows the system is corrupt and doesn't like it! He called out everyone who's taking in $$$$$$$$$ in a Super Pac. The man seemed genuinely kind... Like a real mensch. :) I couldn't believe my ears. That all came from a Republican. :wow:

14. :) I know. I'm old enough. Politicians actually use to socialize with the other party. They were
friends when out of the Capitol building. They actually liked each other. Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Michael Savage, Sean InSannity and Bill O'LIElly change politics with their hatefulness. I grew up in the Tip O'Neill, Paul Simon days of moderate politics.

13. He is apparently also on The Daily Show tonight.
They tweeted it earlier. Not a politician I would vote for, but glad he is getting some airtime with his anti corruption in politics message.

:hi:

And Roemer did indeed appear sane.
