I can't believe I'm saying this,but I like Buddy Romer. |

He is on the Daily Show, and I'm actually really liking him. He doesn't bow at the altar of the almighty dollar and corporations. He said corporations don't give a damn about the rest of us and he is right, I'm in shock. I never thought I could respect a republican, but I respect him. I won't vote for him, but I do respect him.

Moderate repub, white wolf.
They are close to extinction or have become conservative dems.
They roamed the plains back in the Jurasic, well before your time.

7. Yeah, Biden used to say "this isn't your father's Republican |
|
party anymore".
They used to be some sanity. Even if there are some left, they've been run over by this new breed. It's frightening It's like having a party full of Harold Fords. :scared:

She was always a registered Republican and switched parties cuz she said--and I quote-"the Republicans have lost their fucking minds" end quote.
I of course have always been a Democrat. :-)

I feel like I've fallen down the rabbit hole.
Clearly, he is too sane for the Republican party.

21. I caught the tail end of his appearance on Rachel's show.... |
|
I didn't recognize him and was thinking..who is this guy? Even Rachel seemed genuinely impressed. Of course, with his views, he has no chance to win the Repub nomination..which is too bad.

22. He's one of the few R's I can still respect |
|
I used to think that we all had the best interests of the country and the people at heart, just different philosophies on how to get to the end result. Mr. Roemer is one of those guys.
Now you can't turn around without hearing really crazy stuff.
I don't think they simply have different methods to get to the best for everyone. They are....well, evil. I don't use that term lightly either.
They choose corporations and money over human beings every single time.
I'm sick to death of this whole mess.
