Rick Perry thinks that state's rights should prevail and that people of "like minds" should be able to come together and live together. The problem is that there is no checks and balances on the TRUTH. The Board of ED altered student textbooks and lie to the students. Tell me, how does that prepare them to be citizens of the US of AMERICA, if they are taught "history according to" the joker instead of truth. How does that prepare children to be good citizens of a democracy, if they do not have access to truth. This is really bad news. Perry would reduce the reach of federalism and leave the states to impose unjust and moral standards on all those who live within their borders without regard to equality or persuit of happiness.
