10. The press no. But Fox News yes. They're already calling him a "union thug," whatever that is |
|
oh and their other usual standby, "union boss." Because, you know, it's awful to represent working people? LOL right wingers, they crack me up. A "union boss" is bad, the head of the Chamber of Commerce is good. Okay ... ?????

Hey, he's the leader of a trucker's union, if he's banging a waitress on the side they may see that as a badge of honor :P :spray:

Doesn't Hoffa know he's supposed to be chastened, to scrape and bow in hopes of changing the hearts and minds of people who will never, ever, under any circumstances go along with him? It's such a winning formula, demonstrated over the last three years by all the sensible people. The progressive agenda is moving forward, ever forward, and the popularity of liberal ideas has never been greater! Don't mess up all we've won, Mr. Hoffa. The right to say, "Thank you, sir. May I have another?" must be protected.

He's a good man who's defending the working people of this country and he needs OUR support.

6. Nothing he says in this clip is "radical" |
|
or threatening in any way. It ought to be common sense... I view unions as a sign of civilized society.

It is always painful when I meet a struggling worker, working multiple part time jobs and barely getting by, (especially one guy I met who's child had medical problems on top of it), who gets all their info from Fox News.
I met someone recently who was your classic down-and-out worker who started blabbing about Obama being socialist. It was so painful hearing him blame liberal politicians for the economy he was struggling in, meanwhile supporting Republicans like Rick Perry. The ironic part is that we live in Texas, yet he still supports Perry even though he is barely getting by. It's insane.
