the thought of seeing dumb-fuck W all weekend may make me ill |
|
all the talk about idiot repubs reminded me of the dumbest of them all, the most incompetent SOB to ever darken the White House.
I saw a couple clips of him today and the anger started welling up inside me again.
The one thing we won't hear in all the memories this weekend is how this incompetent boob ignored warnings. Nor will we hear how his incompetent administration totally fucked up the response. And those are the real lessons America should learn about 9/11. ELECT COMPETENT OFFICIALS AND WATCH THEM.
that Bozo has changed America more than any president.

I give it up to a Protestant minister I heard the weekend after 9-11. He said "Watch the news to get what you need, then turn it off." Excellent advise, in view of my sensing the same welling up of bile you describe.

2. Maybe enough of that little bastard on the airwaves |
|
will remind people of just who was responsible for allowing it to happen and just who let bin Laden go to chase glory in a country that didn't have any terrorists in it and just who fucked up everything he touched for the next 7 years.
Reagan actually changed the country more. Bozo just happened along, a true believer rigged into office twice because he was a true believer and finished the job Reagan had started.
Once Reagan had gotten his way, the outcome was inevitable. It was stalled for over a decade by low interest rates and unlimited credit to people who had little way to pay it back. Now all the bills are coming due at once.

3. I plan on avoiding as much of the 9/11 anniversary coverage as possible, |
|
but I hope enough certain people watch and realize who got us into this mess in the first place.

7. I beg to differ on Bush changing this country more than any other president. |
|
As far as I'm concerned, Reagan is the president who bestows that honor. Virtually every problem this country is facing right now--the Taliban, terrorism, Iraq, income inequality, economic crisis, being overly dependent on oil, the National Debt--began with the Reagan administration.
