What if the Democratic nominee in the next Presidential election were a Mormon from Utah? |
|
Specifically, what if nobody (including the Democratic nominee herself or himself) believed that he or she had any Amerindian ancestry? Would unresolved Amerindian land claims in Utah remain permanently unresolved, or get resolved without investigating the merits of the cases, on the assumption that if a major party nominee for President thought there was no issue there, then there is no issue there?
