I really can't believe people think withholding funds from Bastrop is justified.

In the 2008 elections only 58% of people voted. 3907 voted for McCain and 3325 voted for Obama. In the gubernatorial almost 9000 voted against Perry (45+%) and 113 voted Green.

Are you really willing to destroy the lives of about 46% of your known friends to make a point to 54% of your possible enemies-- some of whom may have already got the point through this very experience?

Not to mention the 42% unknowns who don't do politics or can't because they're undocumented?

Seriously WTF is wrong with you people.
