4. That was fast. As to not elected - aren't they just another congressional
committee? Or are there un-elected persons on it? Congress has always used committees to draft legislation, etc. How is this different?

I am not in favor of this committee but we need real influence on them. If they are legal then we need to come at them in another direction.

7. I didn't get to vote for or against any of the people on the Super Committee.
They don't represent me. My Congressman and Senators won't be able to offer amendments to their decisions. That makes them an unelected oligarchy.

8. There will be no final vote on this after they get done? Then you are
correct. That would be the difference between past committees and this one.

9. There will be a vote.
An up or down vote.

With a normal committee, there is a chance for our representatives to offer amendments. There will be none this time.

Not sure if there will be a chance to filibuster.

5. "Jobs fast" is going to cost us more than electing a Republican would...
"Fixing the economy fast" and "jobs fast" are two different things, mostly mutually exclusive.

These "jobs" are going to be created and controlled, if they are created at all, by exactly the same people who created our present situation. And so far the techniques they are offering are more of the same.

And I'm glad to see they didn't diminish their message by including anything about the committee being an unconstitutional power grab that limits the power of the full Congress.

11. Remind me whose ass did the "super committee" come from?
McConnell's? Boehner's?

It's all bullshit IMO just like the tea party.
