I think $450bn is a small price to pay for lower taxes and more jobs, plus over a trillion in debt reduction.

And on top of that, what pissed me off the most is the republican's bullshit payroll tax cut opposition. That just proves that they only exist to oppose this president.

1. I gotta tell you that while I opened my home up to Obama campaign staff for months...
I cannot bear to watch another speech from the man until he actually stands behind his words. I have given him all benefit of a doubt until tonight but my stomach just can't take it any more. In fact if the government gave immunity for people doing illegal drugs to alleviate their pain from the immobility of this administration I would be one of the first takers. This is really sad because I had not planned on doing psychedelic drugs until I reached the age of 80 and now 27 years early if I had no fear of incarceration I would be there!

5. I understand.
But there are things that could be stated repeatedly. Like hey...* didn't pay a dime for his wars and you folks are dirt poor now because you are paying for them now. Or....hey these wars are eating us alive! Or even, these tax cuts for the wealthy don't make sense to me or you in the middle there but the folks who really run this place like them. Just say it for god's sake. Say it and stand behind the words and let the others look like the fools they are.

Quite frankly I don't know that this man wants to be President for another term and I don't blame him a bit. But if he can't make a stand then he should let someone else run.

7. Not sure we'll have a presidency much longer for anyone if we can't unify
behind some economic goal in the country that is achievable. I think that Obama is trying to do that with "jobs" and frankly, we need many more of them.

He is attempting to make people face their choice-growth for the few or growth for all. I understand your points of view and I support them. I just think that this nation is much closer to breaking up than we know. And I believe that is exactly what the Koch's and Co. truly want.

So Obama and his "soaring rhetoric" is ok. He's a politician. They all are. They all lie and they tell the truth only when they have to. He told some truth tonight. He said, you must choose America and it will be painful for all. Its going to hurt but its not going to kill the country.

Personally, I prefer Hillary. Wrong time tho'. So ok.
