Turns out, folks in Calloway County are being turned away from the judicial building because of a water leak that lasted up to three days, caused thousands of dollars in damage and perhaps more importantly, shut down much of its computer system.

The phones are dead, computers malfunctioning, the camera doesn't work and virtually everything has to be done by hand.

She believes the water started a fire that charred the phone system.

Everyone hopes that insurance covers most of the damage but no one's sure at this point. The I.T. guy said so far, he's had to replace up to $10,000 in equipment.

money, money, money - everybody is out of pocket. the County, taxpayers, people needing permits, and 37 teenagers who were to get their driving permits.
