We've been crying nonstop for five days. That is why we are cheering. |

Tonight was amazing. This is the Obama I voted for, our President, an inspiration.
As an Arizonan, I immensely appreciate what happened tonight. It was so moving, and I am so proud of this President and the community here that is helping this amazing woman to heal.
I don't understand why the media blabbermouths don't understand the cheering. We have been crying in desperation and confusion for five days. Tonight is a huge release. He is saying the things we have yearned to hear spoken since Saturday, but also the antedote to Sarah Palin's disgraceful performance today.
Gabby opened her eyes.
We need to live up to the expectations that Christina Green had of us. That was one of the most profound messages of the President's speech.
Awesome, President Obama. Thank you for coming to Arizona.

I am not an AZ native, but have lived here for over 35 years.....we visit Tucson at least 3 times a year...this shooting shit is making me depressed, sad and shaking my head.
My niece called me tonight to see if I was okay. Which is awesome but sad at the same time.
Yeah, I cheered for and with the people of Tucson last night.
