CNN reporting 2 of 3 terrorist suspects are American Citizens...
I for one am tired with the automatic reaction that this is fear-mongering or that "THEY" are trying to distract from the President's job's plan or other issues. WE (Obama and the Democrats) are running DHS, CIA and NSA.

1. the problem, though, is that Obama got in, and none of those agencies is still "we"
That may be a separate issue from the validity of this alert, however...

2. Is this about two specific individuals out of group of three terror suspects, or 2/3 in general?
As in 66-2/3 out of every 100?

6. I'm still at work and starved for information. Are we talking about two right-wingers, two Muslims,
Amish, or what?

7. Per reporting I've seen they appear to be three people, two of the three Americans, that
possibly traveled from Pakistan or Afghanistan to the US.

Tip came from a single informant who has provided accurate and credible info in the past.

Apparently officials are exploring potential pieces of information relating to names that may be connected to these three individuals.

No specifics beyond that.

Hope that helps a bit.

8. I appreciate your effort. The story remains as clear as mud, and doesn't raise my interest much.
Have a good weekend!

:hi:

10. Agree. Lots of hyper-speculation without any solid fact. Hopefully it remains a non-event. nt

4. Not according to my American Government class...

It teaches in the third chapter how the President has very little control of the bureaucracies and that they continue to look after the interests of the groups that helped create them, and can work to sabotage a President.

15. Manning was officially charged soon after his arrest
Additional charges were also added later. Quite a long list of charges. I have no idea why you believe he's been held all this time with no charges.

13. No-what they reported was that 2 of the subjects may have travelled...
using American passports, not that they were American. However, in my opinion, we are more at risk of violence from home grown terrorists than foreign terrorists.
