US First Responders Not Allowed to Attend 9/11 Memorial Service But GWB Is
9/11 First Responders Snubbed for 10th Anniversary

“9/11 first responders, who risked their lives to save others, are not being invited to New York's 10th anniversary memorial service due to space restraints. Brooke spoke to retired NYPD officer James Ryder, who is extremely angry that first responders are being "betrayed." He says Mayor Bloomberg could figure out how to get elected three times, but can't figure out how to find first responders a seat?”…cont…

9/11 10th Anniversary: Former President George W. Bush Will Be In New York City

“NEW YORK — The ceremony at the World Trade Center site marking the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks will be a solemn but stately event that will include former President George W. Bush and a chance for victims' families to view the names of loved ones etched into the memorial, Mayor Michael Bloomberg said.

President Barack Obama and Bloomberg will be joined by the leaders in charge during the 2001 attacks, including Bush, former Mayor Rudolph Giuliani and former New York Gov. George Pataki. Current New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie will also be there, he said.
Speaking on his weekly radio show Friday on WOR-AM, Bloomberg said the lawmakers will read short poems or quotes. No speeches will be given.”…cont…

US First Responders Not Allowed to Attend 9/11 Memorial Service

"Bonnie Giebfried was a first responder during the September 11 attacks almost 10 years ago. On that day, she was twice entombed in sheared building fragments, and escaped twice. She transported people to safety and set up makeshift triage stations. She watched bodies hit the ground and suffered three asthma attacks.

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg‘s decision to not allow first responders to attend this year’s memorial ceremony at Ground Zero is a fresh wound for Giebfried.”...cont…

2. I Saw That
How GWB has the last 26 pages of the Congressional report removed because it led directly to Saudis who lived in gated communities In Florida (if I heard correctly)

5. If GWB is there, the cameras can zoon in him and the announcers can say...
"there's the guy who failed to keep us safe and the reason we are here..."

7. Lots of rental space available in the new freedom tower!
Only two tenants have signed up, and one of them is The China Center that promotes their country's corporate expansion here.

The steel is from German and glass from China.

http://www.democracynow.org/2011/9/9/rebuilt_ground_zero_billed_as_national"> Rebuilt Ground Zero Billed as National Symbol, But Costly Construction Projects Outsourced Overseas - Democracy Now! (video)

This weekend, thousands of people will gather at the site of the former World Trade Center to mark the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. On Sunday, a dedication ceremony will be held for the 9/11 Memorial, which will open to the public on Monday. However, construction continues on 1 World Trade Center, which is far from complete. While the 10th anniversary has made international headlines, little attention has been paid to some controversial aspects of the rebuilding at Ground Zero. At a time when President Obama is launching a massive jobs initiative, key parts of the construction project were outsourced overseas. A Chinese glass company won the contract to manufacture the special blast-resistant glass base of 1 World Trade Center. Some 250 tons of stainless steel from Germany will also be imported for the project. So far, just two tenants have agreed to move in to the 105-floor building, the massive skyscraper formerly known as the Freedom Tower. The China Center was the first tenant to sign a deal. Leasing floors 64 to 69, the center will be used to promote the expansion of Chinese companies in the United States and house the U.S. offices of some Chinese firms. And the publishing giant Condé Nast has agreed to be the anchor tenant by leasing floors 20 to 41 at a heavily subsidized rate. We’re joined by Joe Nocera, business columnist for the New York Times who has closely followed the rebuilding at Ground Zero and recently wrote a column titled "9/11’s White Elephant." We also speak with Scott Paul, executive director of the Alliance for American Manufacturing. (includes rush transcript)

13. I'm Thinking That If More American's Knew This About The Materials Used To Build This ........
that there would be outrage. From its inception - this new building and anything on the site should have been built of all american materials. That would have been a fitting tribute to the people that died that day.

8. This is blatant assholery on those that set and do not respond
negatively to this policy.

A DC MLK Memorial of quality comparable to Washington, Lincoln, or Jefferson should be more important than the tradgedy of 9-11 how the aftermath divided and damaged the USA by domestic forces allied with Globalism.

16. IT Is A Shame & Disgrace Of The 1st Degree
That the careless, hapless man who let it happen would be given a place and not those who tried to save the lives of those he never cared an ounce about...

17. The first people thrown under the bus were the people who died in the towers
The second were the people who tried to save them.

I can only think the looks of horror when I said that back when it happened were because the truth was so immensely evil that to accept it was impossible...yet they bulldozed the bodies of the dead, and they denied help to the responders who got sick afterward. It's like they need to keep reminding us what they did, when we don't want to see it.
