‘Credible Threats’ Made to US Government

Homeland Security Studying Two-Hour Video from Wednesday Night



WASHINGTON - The Department of Homeland Security said today that it was studying several “credible threats” made to the United States government in a two-hour broadcast Wednesday night from a location believed to be the Reagan Library in Simi Valley, California.

Homeland Security spokesman Harland Dorinson said that the Department did not want to alarm the American people, “but whenever you have a group of individuals threatening to dismantle the US government piece by piece, it has to be taken seriously.”

In reviewing the two-hour tape, Homeland Security officials said they found threats to some of the most essential functions of the US government, from Social Security to the Federal Reserve.

While stopping short of saying that the speakers were engaged in some sort of jihad, Mr. Dorinson did note that a tone of religious extremism dominated the video.

4. I guess it's humor, but I really wonder when the plan is to dismantle the USG

by legislative agenda...isn't this just as treasonous as working to bring the government down by overt acts of sabotage? Wasn't Al Qaeda and bin Laden trying to destroy the US Government? How are they any different from a Grover Norquist who wants to drown the federal government in a bathtub by depriving it of tax revenue? The same Norquist who also has ties to ME lobbyists?

5. My sources claim

that several 'persons of interest' outside of the California locale also have threatened FEMA and the EPA. The threats have been caught on tape on multiple occasions and are considered credible. One faction of the populace has reacted with, "Meh," and another, inexplicably, with calls of, "USA, USA". However, stronger forces have coalesced, vowing to persist in the effort to thwart such attacks.
