Queensland, Australia (PHOTO)


Homes in this south-western suburb of Brisbane, Australia are inundated by floodwaters. Residents of the city's low-lying areas were urged to head for higher ground as the flood reached it's peak. - Dave Hunt

unlike in our own most recent flood debacle. ...sigh.

My hopes that this will soon pass. What incredible devastation. Sri Lanka is being badly hit by floods as well, but haven't seen anything outside BBC reporting it.

BTW the BBC said that Man Eating Bull Sharks are roaming the Streets in Brisbane..... no fatalities but numerous sightings.
