We should not fear having our preconceptions challenged... |

None of us is always right. Although we may believe in something passionately, we may be wrong? There may be possibilities we have not yet thought or imagined?
We debate and discuss from where we stand at the moment. Perhaps facts will surface in the future that will prove us wrong or cause us to change our mind? None of us should claim that we have the answer to all the questions.
We should try to keep as open a mind as possible and look at the facts as they are presented, without allowing emotions and feelings to decide for us. As Democrats, we should be able to agree on a certain set of principles. Let us attempt to disagree in the most civil manner.
