Drunk on 9/11

I dont need to try to remember where I was or what I was doing. I was knee deep in boring Defense Intel on 9/10 and a month later I was vetting projects for the upcoming warS in a country that had nothing whatsoever to do with a bunch of Saudis with boxcutters (if you buy the official story).

I know a lot of good people died and I salute them and feel bad for their family, but please save me the rah rah USA shit today. It was a con so that a bunch of people could get through their plans for imperialism and profiteering for the military industrial war pigs

Send me to the dungeon, I dont care, but Im not flaq waving today.

3. I agree -- this has zero to do with the US..other than that people hated

us enough to attack us. The saddest part was Bush let ALL the goodwill we had on 9/12/01 evaporate and
our further actions left thousands upon thousands just as dead as our innocent citizens on 9/11.

This day should only be focused on the families who died (all over the world)

9. Watched the Toronto conference this weekend..

Aside from the scientific stuff .. was a psychologist who studies essentially propaganda.. that too was great..

11. Rah, rah shit is right. I went to pick up some milk at Walmart - all

along the road I saw flags on various buildings at half mast. That was fine as it adequately expressed the sorrow over both the deaths that day and the ones in the war that followed. So I walk into wm and first thing you see is this table of red, white and blue goodies and flags and balloons for sale. I and another woman stopped to look at it, shared a frown and I said "is this a celebration?" She smiled and said NO.

This is Walmart's take on what happened 10 years ago - something to celebrate?
