John Wheeler investigation: Search warrants sealed
http://www.delawareonline.com/article/20110113/NEWS/110113005/Search+warrants+sealed+in+Wheeler+death+probe

NEWARK — Search warrants in the killing of a federal defense consultant whose body was found in a landfill were kept sealed at the request of police and prosecutors.

Police investigating the death of 66-year-old John P. Wheeler III of New Castle have obtained four separate search warrants involving his home, car and cell phone.

"They're not going to release the seal on any of the warrants right now, I can tell you that," Lt. Mark Farrall, a spokesman for the Newark Police Department, said Wednesday.

Farrall also said authorities will not release any of the video surveillance tapes investigators have looked at, including one of Wheeler in downtown Wilmington the night before his body was found among a load of trash being dumped at the Wilmington landfill on the morning of Dec. 31.

of what they're looking for. The law office he visited right before he died is a high-profile one here in DE and have been named 'Leading Life Sciences Patent Litigators'. One of the Companies involved in some of their cases -- Monsanto. Their website is www.cblh.com. I googled to find some additional info about them:

"Connolly Bove Lodge & Hutz LLP is one of the nations leading intellectual property and business law firms, headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware and having additional offices in Washington, D.C......Our success in patent litigation has not only protected key technologies, but it has helped shape the law on important issues regarding patents. Our firm has extensive expertise in Delaware corporate and commercial law with deep roots in the Delaware Court of Chancery, one of the most respected business courts in the country"

2. Wheeler's Death Is Strange.....
I sense that something is going on under the surface that we're not supposed to know.

Oh and by the way - any news or updates on the wife of the WH Staffer that was burned to death in her car in her garage?

3. I'm sure they have good reasons
It's not like the guy had connections or knew any state secrets.

I hope wikileaks isn't alerted. Don't anyone tell them, K?

4. Hmmm.... interesting.
Chip Connolly (the firm's managing partner mentioned in the story) served as a legislative assistant to then Joe Biden back in the 80s.
