Combine that with the Arizona Republican Precinct (or whatever) leaders resigning because they weren't willing "to take a bullet" for the Republican Party - from Tea Type fanatics. Palin's gunsight map was so obvious that it pulled most of the media attention and commentary, but it was a pale above ground shadow of what is boiling right at the edge of public radar. I can understand why many in the public feel it is a stretch to personally blame Palin for the shooting, and as long as the debate focuses on Palin only the most sinister forces growing in our mation can still avoid the spotlight. But sadly it is only a matter of time before something else happens to tear off the mask that still disguises them as "conservative activists".

...sad that some of my fellow San Diegans could behave that way. I have heard (TV news) that the Tea Party had several SD rallies. One TV station was also very biased toward Popodich (sp?). SD also has Duncan Hunter Jr...now that his dad retired. I think some voters just vote the name...probably don't realize they are voting for his son. Awful.

and the white supremacist that was part of his opponents group celebrating the murder of a nine-year-old child - saying it's start of a "revolution" - aka a new civil war in this nation.
And Koch is on record saying it's the best political movement since the American Revolution.
If these weren't white people, they would already be in jail - or in gitmo.

Our local tea bags were pretty scary also. Very loud, in your face, threatening. But also pretty stupid.
