Look at this excerpt from the USA TODAY/Gallup poll:

-snip-
A 53% majority of those surveyed call that analysis mostly an attempt to use the tragedy to make conservatives look bad. About a third, 35%, say it is a legitimate point about how dangerous language can be.

I am strong believer that the problem with the polls is the framing of the questions and when the USA TODAY/Gallup asks a question like that I wonder if they are not trying to advance an agenda. If they want to see "an attempt to make conservatives look bad" let me from frame the questions in the next poll.

6. These polls are beginning to illustrate our Democracy is a
sham. The Polls are being used to spread ideas and
control public opinion rather than an honest solicitation
of public opinion.

Ask a question a certain way, you get one answer. Ask
the same question in a different frame you will get an
entirely different response.

Use your "Most Likely Voters" and you have a 2 to 1 Republican
Pool. You will get the Republican View Point for your poll.
