Edited on Mon Sep-12-11 06:52 AM by NNN0LHI
On Morning Joe? Everyone, and I mean everyone on the show jumped right on him and began defending Bush. Every one of them. See how people react to someone telling an inconvenient truth? They all pile on and begin looking at you like they are fitting you for a straight jacket. I bet Tavis doesn't ever do that again. See how that works?

Amazing isn't it?

2. That means they are all liars...
Edited on Mon Sep-12-11 06:57 AM by kentuck
Joe, Mika, and the whole bunch. Of course George W Bush lied. He knew exactly what he was telling the American people and why? It wasn't bad "intel". They created their own intelligence. Good for Tavis for sticking to his guns under the fire of these lying, covering-up, assholes...

....it would expose the rank bullshit of xCommander AWOL Bush (R).

Republicons got propaganda on theri side,
America has truth on its side.

5. See how people react? No, that's how Republicans react
And I don't watch the Republican Congressman and Friends Hour, as so many do here, nor would I be surprised that right wing Republicans favor Bush.

8. There is an article that Smiley is leaving his one hour show on NPR at the end of
December. I hope he has something in the works where he can speak out the way he does on those panels with West, Tyson, etc. He shouldn't have to speak around a clown like Scarborough.

20. Rumsfeld tweeted that he canceled his NYTs subscription
over Krugman's comments yesterday so I tweeted him that he can't get it in the federal pen anyway. lol

The propaganda whores are going at it full tilt boogie. You wouldn't believe Cheney, he's the very worst of them and his audiences are insanely branwashed.

14. Astonishing how resilient Bush's teflon is
Just this morning, the Toady Show had excerpts from Brian Williams interviewing President Obama. One of the first questions they ran was about Obama's declining approval numbers, now about 44%. Does anyone recall the first, last or anytime in between during eight years of Bush when a national "news" figure like Brian Williams asked Dubya about his poll numbers, especially when they were mired in the low to mid 30s?

No.

It doesn't matter what the press says.
It doesn't matter what the politicians or the mobs say.
It doesn't matter if the whole country decides that something WRONG is something RIGHT.
This nation was founded on one principle above all else: The requirement that we stand up for what we believe.
No matter the odds or the consequences.
When the mob and the press and the whole WORLD tell you to move, YOUR job is to plant yourself like a tree beside the river of truth and tell the WHOLE WORLD --
"NO. YOU move!"

...a tip o' the hat to Captain America for this one!

It was way over the top. Nothing but attack, attack, attack.

It was remarkable.

27. "He (Bush) didn't 'intentionally' lie." And Cheney didn't "intentionally" stand over CIA analysts
to "get the evidence" to tie in Iraq with 9/11.

Lawrence Wilkinson must be blowing a gasket if he heard this conversation.

This is one example of why I DON'T WATCH THIS CRAP. (But I thank those who have the stomach for it & report back -- I could hardly get through watching just minutes of Brian "I Are A Statesman" Williams.)
