1. Well, like all good grifters, she took advantage of her flash-in-the-pan status. |
|
Then took off with all her money.

Failin has become last week's news. Look for her shit on the clearance rack at the Dollar Store from now on.
I am glad to see it happen. This time next year the losers who used to be her groupies will be saying "Sarah who?" .

18. even before the liquidation you could've gotten away with that at Borders |
|
managers were supposed to just give you what you wanted if the customer squalled enough--so things were going out the door at 40% all too many times and customers would just stay away until there was a 30%-off-everything day and the company was run by mental patients

14. Is our publishers learning? |
|
You can bet that half-gov's agent negotiated a "no backsies" book contract, and the full advance paid by the publisher is long gone. Did the publisher negotiate a "no backsies" distribution contract with book sellers? Someone's getting stuck with these tomes and their ridiculous cost, but it isn't the author.

19. Once Rove gave her the thumbs down, |
|
she was out. And the usual money poured into buying up stacks of the trash 'written' by the far right's 'stars', like Coulter eg, probably will go elsewhere now.
I notice Coulter seems to be back, AND criticizing Palin.
It wasn't a bad run though. She made millions which was all she really cared about anyhow.
