Can I get a prayer for the Democratic Party. |
|
What is it with my party and putting up faulty candidates?
I am watching Joe Sestak on Dylan Ratigan, ugh. Every time this guy goes into one of his "stories" or "reflections" I feel like climbing a wall. How he received the nomination for 2010 Senate campaign, I will never know. I am sure Admiral Sestak is a decent guy, but EVERY SINGLE time I watch him I want to jump out a damn window.
I am so put off by the Democratic Parties laziness that I can barely stand it. Why do we keep doing this? We take for granted our own districts and states by putting in these generic grab bag democrats and 90% of the time we lose...
Uhhhh

3. Are you saying that every losing candidate is faulty? |
|
Or do you have specific complaints that otherwise would have led to a Democratic win in an anti-Democratic election wave?
As for "how he received the nomination"? He beat an incumbent who everyone felt was going to lose as well.

4. He got the nomination because he was running against Arlen Specter. |
|
And you're not wrong about Sestak, he comes off as being not genuine, particularly in person. (I speak from experience.) But I think it's a mistake to extrapolate from one case across the board. There are a always going to be bad candidates in the mix here and there.

6. Yea, you are probably right, I'm just frustrated. |

With us all but guaranteed to lose these two Congressional seats in Nevada and in New York, he just reminds me of a serious problem that out party has.

5. It's tough to find quality Democrats that adhere to GOP philosophy, so they generally have to run |

faulty ones in order to accomplish the goal of continually moving the party to the right.

7. Our Party Spends Too Much Time Out of Power |
|
We spend too much time in the minority, which means not seen and not heard, particularly in the House.
