Anyone know what makes tonight a "Tea Party" Debate? |
|
Yes, I know its sponsored by the Tea Party, but will we be getting "no tax pledge" questions or "raise you hand if you believe the earth is 6,000 years old" stunts?> What do Tea Party voters really want to know about the candidates that hasn't been asked at the other debates?

1. "If you're gonna get our vote, you're gonna have to really hate the Democrats" |
|
"I do!"
"Oh yeah? How much?"
"A lot."
{Pause} "Okay, you're in."

2. Is there anything to debate? |
|
They'll all look like a bunch of ventriloquist's dummies with nothing to say but "no taxes for rich people" and "Social Security is a Ponzi scheme."

4. Gee, there's a debate tonight? |
|
I hope they keep doing these phony "debates" until the public is so sick of them they never want to see any of them again.
I guess no politician has ever heard of "overexposure."

10. Perhaps they could ask if the candidates believe that... |
|
"If two sides of a triangle are congruent, the angles opposite these sides are congruent." After all a mathematical Theorem is really just a fancy-pants name for a Theory, isn't it?

12. From the Tea Party Express website.....I feel so dirty.... |
|
Partners The Tea Party Debate has tremendous significance because it is powered by engaged tea party activists. The Tea Party Debate will be coordinated by Tea Party Express and CNN, with participation and involvement from co-host local tea party groups in every state across the country. The questions asked of the candidates will all come from the tea party groups and their members – to ensure the debate is about the issues that matter most to the tea party movement....oh this should be really good....
