I think that was her Grandfather they kept showing. I'm not sure though. Does anyone know if they were there or not? Maybe they asked not to be filmed? Or did they choose not to attend? Just wondering. My heart goes out to them so very much. I cannot imagine the deep pain and suffering they are experiencing right now.

1. If I lost one of my kids,
I don't think I could bear being in an environment where there was cheering or even smiling.

4. What is a memorial but a celebration of life?
Technically, we are supposed to be happy when someone passes - happy for them, but we have learned to (and its natural human emotion) to grieve because of OURSELVES - because of OUR loss and the fact that WE will miss them for awhile. I can't think of a better way to honor someone than to share joy and sorrow, which is the way it was.

8. That is only from the Christian perspective,
or someone who believes in an after-life. Otherwise, there wouldn't be any reason to be happy.

Her parents are Catholic, however; they probably just wanted to mourn privately, not under the cameras.

2. There was a young couple sitting next to the grandfather
I'm thinking that was her mom & dad - they got very emotional during Obama's speech. Girl had red shirt on I believe & had glasses, boy in blue shirt.

5. If I'm not mistaken, the people I saw who were interivewed were older than the couple you mention
The parents I saw interviewed were older and the mother has dark hair.

6. That was the family of the neighbor who brought her to meet Rep. Giffords.

11. Yes, the older man is the husband of the woman who took her
to the supermarket. He was part of the hospital presser a few days ago because his wife was also shot and is still in the hospital. I believe the young people with him were his kids.

Christina's father is a very big man and her mother has long, very dark hair. They've been interviewed several times, but I did not see them at all last night.

7. No...it was not the grandfather. That man is married to
Mary Reed who was shot three times (and survived) attempting to save her daughter from being shot. Anderson Cooper had Mary Reed (and the man and the saved daughter) on last night. Also, Anderson Cooper had the Green family on last night. He had an interview with them via satellite prior to the memorial service as they stood outside of the arena/gymnasium where the service was held. What a terrific family! They were so grateful for the president and for the community. The flag flown at Ground Zero was sent to them to be flown at their daughter's funeral (today).

13. Ah. so did they show the Green's in the gymnasium at all?
I saw the older man and the couple sitting next to him, but I did not think they were Christina's family. I wish I had seen Anderson Cooper's interview. I wish the Green's (including their little boy) all the strength in the world right now.

10. Did she have siblings? I hope so.
It would be even worse to lose your only child.

14. Only an 11-year old brother. The father says the boy lost his best friend and sister.
