and we all know GA won't do it.


Can't Anonymous free him ? We all know he is innocent. It is beyond horrific.

The President and Congress have no interest in proper justice. I don't think Anonymous has any more power than anyone else outside of an online action. Direct Action, on the other hand, is what is needed.

1. Troy Davis' name was turned in to the police by the man who should have been investigated instead of Davis. Knowing that he was wanted for murder, Davis turned himself in, mistakenly thinking the police would discover through its investigation that Davis was innocent.

2. Seven of nine witnesses in original trial have recanted their testimonies.

3. Some of these witnesses have stated that their original statements were the result of police intimidation.

4. Other than the unreliable witness testimonies, the prosecution had NO HARD EVIDENCE against Davis.

5. During the post-conviction habeas process, Davis’ ability to gather evidence & to provide an innocence claim was hampered by a two-thirds budget cut for the Georgia Resource Center, reducing the number of staff attorneys to two, which were representing 80 prisoners.

6. In addition, due to the Anti-Terrorism & Effective Death Penalty Act, time limits on access to the federal appeals process by death-row prisoners severely hurt Davis’ case.

It's very much like the Oklahoma v. Ron Williamson case, except Ron was eventually set free. It was the subject of John Grisham's book, "An Innocent Man: Murder & Injustice In a Small Town" (A couple of lines from the book description on Amazon: If you believe that in America you are innocent until proven guilty, this book will shock you. there have been so many petitions,marches, rallies, civil disobedience and letters from very respected and important people.

I don't have faith in Obama, Congress, Justice Dept..

I guess after seeing what the did to BART in the bay area I see them as potential help.

There been thousands of people signing these petitions when the corp media won't even let others know of the petitions.

It doesn't pass my certainty of agency requirement.

Having said that, I was stunned Davis's lawyer did not call Red Coles to the stand for his last change hearing. They needed to prove innocence at that hearing and not coercion or incorrect testimony. They needed the smoking gun.
