Simulated bomb was cause of KCI disruption, authorities say
http://www.kansascity.com/2011/09/12/3138526/simulated-bomb-was-cause-of-kci.html

A former New York City police officer who delayed travelers for hours Sunday at Kansas City International Airport carried a simulated bomb in his carry-on luggage, authorities alleged Monday.

Anthony Falco Jr. allegedly told security screeners, who already were suspicious of his luggage, that “whoever opens my bag is going to have a very bad day” and that “they’re going to be sorry” if the screeners opened any of the taped-up packages in his luggage.

Falco, who purportedly claimed that his constitutional rights against unreasonable search and seizure were being violated, allegedly claimed that the package contained computer parts.

Tucker reported seeing on the X-ray “two power sources, wires, a clock … and a dark mass which could have been an explosive load.”
