The Party of death
Edited on Tue Sep-13-11 02:09 PM by Cyrano
Rick Perry was loudly cheered by a Republican audience at the first Tea Party debate when he proudly stated how many people he had killed on death row in Texas (234).

And more recently, he was loudly cheered by a Republican audience when he spoke of a man of 31 who had died because he didn’t have medical insurance in Texas.

What planet is this? When did miserable pricks like Perry start to get away with rallying crowds by talking about how many deaths they had caused?

Something has gone terribly wrong with America. The fact that this man is currently leading the Republican pack of presidential wannabees is beyond weird. It is insanely sick and it’s getting sicker daily.

If all the rest of us got out into the streets, we couldn't cure this malignancy. It’s something that’s been growing like a terminal cancer for the past 30 years. And I don’t have a clue as to how to put an end to it.

So anyone who has the antidote to the mental disease that has infected far too many Americans, please come forward with it now. Please, before it destroys whatever humanity the rest of us have left.

1. Yahoo News picked up the story.
"Tea party debate audience cheer for letting uninsured die" Unfortunately, the link isn't working right now. Hmmm.

Alan Grayson was right about them. It's too bad that not enough people appreciated him when he said what he said about the GOP Death Squad.

5. Go out and bring in votes for Democrats. That's how.
Let the people vote to say "No, thanks. That's not who we are." Put an end to this crap.

When you say we can't help, you're very wrong. Talk to everyone you know. That's all you have to do.

MineralMan, I know you mean well, but it just ain't working.

Between hate radio, and TV for imbeciles, we're outnumbered, understaffed and virtually incapable of launching any kind of offensive against those who are determined to destroy us and everything we believe in.

What I've just said isn't defeatism. It's reality. And far too many people are far too uniformed to say "No thanks. That's not who we are."

Talking to everyone we know, even if we convince them of our point of view, just isn't going to cut it. American right-wing lunatics have declared war on us and they're winning big time. Unless and until many more millions of Americans grasp this simple fact, we are totally screwed and being sucked into a horrendous black hole of evil.

It's really hard to fight back when the enemy controls virtually all the major means of communications to the population (hate radio and cable "news") that is intended to turn everyone into members of the Know-Nothing brigade.

Perhaps we can find a way to make your illustration the logo of the Republican Party.
