They sell a lot of goods here and Canadian outfits own a lot of real estate here. The real estate market has crashed, leaving them fewer assets, and our economy is in the toilet, leaving them fewer sales.
That's the problem with a powerhouse economy like ours. When a bunch of billionaires and their pet politicians try to grab it all, it crashes and takes the rest of the world down with it.
Maybe we can import those guillotines we need from Quebec. I'm sure there are people there with long memories and woodworking equipment.

in Quebec. You are right that it was a few billionaires from the USA who have been spreading that 'virus of the mind' on how reducing all regulation will be wonderful and they did crash the world economy. We have some of the same thinking here in Canada and a lot of it is imported from the USA.
