I hope that EVERYONE watched the Tea Party debate last night |
|
Or at the very least, saw excerpts from it, especially when the audience began cheering for letting uninsured Americans die rather than give them medical care.
People need to see just what complete and utter extremists these people are.
We absolutely cannot allow these people to take control of the country. We've already seen what kind of damage they can do just by controlling the House of Representatives. Imagine giving them full control of Congress and the White House.

4. Be fair to those who didn't cheer -- the majority. |
|
Several voices chimed in and said "yeah" - the "audience didn't cheer".
The take on this here is what I'd expect the overblown reaction on FR to be about a similar occurrence in a Dem debate.
It was horrific, it was sickening, and most of those people are fuckwads, but they didn't all cheer. That paints an inaccurate picture.
I can't believe I'm defending baggers!

6. Yes. You should not apologize for those who did not cheer. They are |
|
part of this group and they are tolerating this behavior.

12. Yes I thought it was just a couple of voices...but then Ron Paul |
|
followed up on his myth of social responsibility to care for those around us. It was suddenly easy to see where those voices had picked up the belief.

13. The majority of Republicans I know wouldn't get involved in a lynching |
|
But they wouldn't lift a finger to stop one either.
Should we be fair and give them a break?

The people cheering in the background were ron paul people. They go to all these things, and every time the man so much as sneezes he gets a standing ovation from them. They are truly nuts, as is paul. No republican I know of would ever say pull the plug, rather, do all you can, if those are the wishes of the individual in the bed. Don't let ron paul muddy up the waters for you guys, when it comes to issues such as these, dems and repubs are solidly on the same page.

Olbermann has to go to a split screen -- has to start putting bright red line thru
that which is despicable!!

I'm not advocating conservative behavior. But, this is our chance to take advantage of a real weakness.
Oh, I forgot we have no media. Never mind. Maybe in 30 years.

But none of these are the equivalent of the slew of massively funded mega channels that play throughout the nation nonstop.
We're outgunned.

15. That exchange, as well as the booing for Ron Paul when he told the truth about blowback. |
|
Horrifying, really, in both instances. that audience, heck, the Republican/teabagger voting public, is truly frightening.
