CNN Asking The Question Should Congress Take A Pay Cut.....
My vote is yes. They should lead by example. But I don't think it will happen. It would be neat if they would tie their pay to the creation of jobs. As the unemployment rate goes down their pay goes up. Then maybe we'd see some action.

2. Their retirement plan is way too lavish.
And their retirement age should be the same as it is for social security.

6. They've all spent millions of dollars getting a job that pays what, $200K?
I think that half of them wouldn't even notice if you cut their pay to zero and most of the rest wouldn't lack for anything remotely necessary.

8. No one ever comes out of congress poor
None of them will ever have the same concerns as the rest of us.

None will be without health care or having to take a second job at minimum wage ringing a cash register.

They don't feel our pain or understand our dilemmas.

They will never vote themselves less money or less benefits.
