9. That's not true.
I don't have to vote for a Republican if I don't want to vote for Obama.

I don't have to vote for Obama if I don't want to vote for a Republican.

While I don't vote for Republicans, I can't say that I'd vote for ANYONE but a Republican. If there really were only two choices, and there are always more than two choices, I would vote for Teddy R. or Eisenhower if the only other choice were Hitler, or Stalin, or...

While I think Obama is a disaster for the nation and the party, I can't say that I'd vote for ANYONE but Obama. I'd vote for a hell of a lot of Democrats, and even more independents, before I'd vote for him. I could probably put a list of a couple of hundred people I'd vote for first.

If there were really only two choices, and there are always more than two choices, I'd vote for him rather than Palin. Or Rush or Beck or Coulter or...

It pretty much boils down to this: I take my right to vote seriously, so I'm careful about how I cast that vote. I don't throw it away on a candidate that doesn't deserve it because a propaganda effort tries to bully or scare me into casting a "lesser evil" vote. That simply enables the status quo. If more voters stood up to that kind of bullying and propaganda, we might be able to get some people worth voting for elected.

8. Usually vote the party line......
Haven't deiced whether or not I'll be casting a vote for president. For me it now depends on how the house and senate races look. If it looks like Dems may regain control of the house and keep control of the senate, I won't be casting a vote for president.
