Took my cats to the vet today.
One needed dental cleaning; the other needed follow-up care for an ear infection.

My cats get better medical care than a lot of people do these days. They eat better too. :(

1. Good for you...
Pets are a ersponsibility that far too many people don't realize. And of course when peopel can't affod their own food or health care, then the animals they do have get dumped.

3. My vet provides better medical care
Than my doctors do. I've never had to wait more than a couple days for an appointment, he will call you back to answer questions in between other patients (I'd be lucky if I talked to a doctor's nurse's assistant), and he spends as much time as necessary.

for similar procedures and tests.

6. My two kitties were very lucky too.
It isn't every cat who can tell his/her friends that his/her doctor is a rocket scientist, but my guys could. Dr. Doug was an engineer at NASA before he decided he preferred animals to rockets, and went back to school to become a veterinarian.....How cool is that?

8. I *so* admire vets
They are primary care, specialists, surgeons, dentists, peditricians, ObGyns and everything else all rolled into one.

If only people were so lucky as to have that kind of knowledge available in a single source.

My Vet is the BEST.

A refrigerated case with "fresh meals for pets"...
