The demonstrators were protesting ahead of a speech by Speaker of the House Rep. John Boehner (R-OH) during the Economic Club of Washington, D.C.'s speaker series luncheon. In the speech, titled 'Liberating America's Economy,' Boehner discussed the GOP's Plan for America's Job Creators, which he said is focused on cutting Washington spending, ending regulations and reforming the tax code.
