In my most humble opinion... |

I think we may need to put the fear of God in 'em.
The Republicans are playing hardball. There are no rules. There is no sympathy. There is no compassion for the little people. They are playing to win.
They came damn close to destroying this country under George W Bush. Everybody remembers, whether they admit or not. They want it all. The power to control the lives of the American people, especially the poor and working classes.
They have robbed our country of its jobs. They have demolished the wage structure in this country. They have greatly diminished the middle class.
It is naive to think to think you can negotiate with them. They will cut off your balls and put them in your mouth and call 60 Minutes.
The lives of average working Americans are on the line. If we cannot wake them up to that fact, we are in for some seriously hard times ahead.
Your vote has never been more important in your life. If you care about your family, your community, and your country, you will find a way to get to the polls and vote against these people that are out to destroy you. It is as simple as that. It is no joke. This President has been put in a very difficult situation and he must rise to the occasion. The country's survival is dependent on him. The Republicans cannot have one more shot at destroying our nation. We cannot permit it. We shall not permit it.

1. That's all we can do, and I pray the general masses can see that. |

I think WE all realize it, not sure about the rest of the country. They can't see past their empty wallets and no job prospects, understandably.

But, i have been saying this for quite awhile now, and I'll say it again a republican will win this next election, simply because the fact that americans are dumb as a whole, and for this reason will vote republican, this is because as of right now, things economically WERE better under bush than they are now under Obama. The reason for this is because we are now seeing the after effect of the bush policies. So even though this is bush's fault, the average american who doesn't pay attention to politics like we here on DU do will just vote republican thinking that it is better for THEMSELVES, and those who do are in fact idiots that think they know everything, so they will not listen to what someone says, or understand why or how the economy works. I hope I am wrong but these idiots will help give the repukes an edge over the democrats who are also not NEARLY as motivated to vote for Obama as they were in the past because of the way he always tries to work with the repukes.
