2. Actually, private sector employment has increased over the last few months
However, public sector jobs have been decreasing due to budget problems at the state and local levels.

7. Those are new unemployment claims -- it doesn't tell you how many are employed
You have to know both hires and fires to know how employment changed.

The 30,000 for BoF is global, out of 288,000 employees. Some will be sold off with divisions to other companies, and it is over 2 years.

In the overall employment picture for the US, it is not so large.

5. Boner also said that the "best days are behind him."
Edited on Thu Sep-15-11 05:30 PM by sfpcjock
Meaning our best days. I guess it was in his "jobs speech" yesterday according to Randi. I'm too nauseated to look right now. If true, this should be his new motto about himself.

Co ops

Government service jobs

are FAR superior.

Those three do not seek to cut your wages

**********************
**********************

Nor send factories to India
Nor fire you on a whim

Nor have a total dictator as every boss

Nor have an owner who gives gobs of money to the GOP---bought elections and bribed officials destroy democracy

Nor make a shabby product
to increase profits

Nor sell "used as new" in poor parts of town

Private Sector also causes recessions via cutting wages.
--- Low wages=
no buy items a factory makes=
factory must close=
many close=
layoffs=
recession every ten years or so.
