"Pan Am"..."Desparate Housewives of ****", and now |
|
"The Playboy Club" to be added to NBC's lineup in the fall.
Screaming back to the past at the speed of light.

Considering that was a time when real income was greater than real income today, a lot of us would welcome a return to that era -- sans the sexism, misogyny, racism, ageism, etc.

4. Well, don't watch the shows. |
|
I'm glad to see more scripted shows on TV. I have no use for any "reality TV" but I'll watch the other two you mentioned, plus Charlie's Angels, which starts next week.
Must be a slow day on the "Complain About This" wire.

8. Out of curiosity what do you think of Mad Men? |
|
I haven't watched Pam Am. My take on Mad Men is that it certainly portrays misogyny (and racism for that matter), but in a very negative light.
I've heard Pan Am described as having all of the sexism of Mad Men but in not a "look how awful this was" manner, but rather a "those were the days" manner. Is that your take as well?
