1. BOA is probably circling the drain, anyway. There are too many banks
and bank locations. I've wondered how they've all kept them open this long. The only thing that's more over-populated than Starbucks is banks.

4. That's not what's draining them
although mega merger after mega merger should have involved closing redundant branches. What's draining them are the two stupid decisions Ken Lewis made to purchase both Countrywide and Merrill Lynch. Both outfits had suffered from crooked management and were drowning in debt, debt that BoA took on when they merged.

The Merrill merger was especially bad since BoA largely kept all the bad management and bad policies and stabbed their own employees in the back to do so.

5. I believe churches are number one.
I think you could throw a rock and hit church, then it would bounce off and hit another.
