Want a handy printout of our Constitution? |
|
The links below have printable Constitutions in different formats. Reading the Constitution from time to time makes anyone a better citizen. http://constitutioncenter.org/633876696043236250.pdf - Nicely formatted in PDF format -- 18 pages. http://www.constitutionbooklet.com/ -- A neat little booklet form. Folding instructions are in a nice video on this page.

1. There's a congressional handout in booklet form |
|
That might be obtainable by making a simple request to one's congressperson. I've had one for more three decades.
I was disappointed, though, when I tried to find a hardbound version to give as a high school graduation gift. I was looking for a simple copy of the Constitution, but there were none. The best I could find was one that was heavily annotated.

3. Cheaper to go to the boostore |
|
and get some cheap copies. Done that from time to time... last time I did that, copy ran 99 cents. Hell, hubby has two copies, a paper one and one on the IPOD.
I have three, paper, IPOD and IPAD.
But seriously, the bookstore ones, they hold up pretty nicely.

6. No, actually not. To go to the bookstore, I have to fire up my |
|
car. Printing a few pages saves me time and money. Have a nice day.

4. Was I encouraging rw'ers when I ordered a free copy of the Constitution |
|
from the Heritage Foundation. They put me on their mailing list & I figure I am wasting their financial resources, and that's a good thing. But I feel a bit guilty because I'm thinking with their values, stooping to their level, somehow. Conflicted, but am mostly glad i did it that way.

5. Husband got on their mailing list too. Do you get the 15+ page |
|
one-sided blather requests for anywhere from $1,000 to $10,000? Twice he sent back the one-page send me money page and asked to be taken off their list; last time he wrote some much harsher things on that page, folded up the whole shebang and stuffed in their postage paid envelope. Not sure what he's going to do if another one comes.

7. I read some of their crap from Hillsdale College |
|
It's good to know how the other side sees things. Mostly, I put their stuff in the mail and gloat that I made them spend money! Juvenile, I know, but I'll not deny it.
