Which Tea Party does Palin support? Patriots or Express? |
|
I don't even know if Patriots is still functioning, couldn't find much info on the situation other than a law suit because one of the Patriots went to the Express side.
Anyway, this pertains to Palin's increased death threats. If she is an Expresser, and not a Patriot, then I would imagine the threats would be coming from the Patriots, who hate the Expressers (whom the Patriots think are just (R)s with another name).
That said, I wonder if she's counting tweets that say stuff like, "I wish she'd just die" or "Someone should assassinate her."

3. So there are factions WITHIN the Tea Party? |
|
That's good news. It makes one much more hopeful that it will fragment into many more pieces. Divided they fall.

4. I have to add that I wasn't even aware that there ARE two Tea Parties! Boy, |
|
the talk was about splintering the Republican Party, didn't think the Tea Party itself would become so divided. interesting! I'll go do a little research - thanks for the education! :hi:

5. Yes, apparently when people refer to the Tea Party that Dick Armey started |
|
it's the Tea Party Patriots, who really want to splinter off from the Republican party (and I think I read somewhere or heard on TV that the Patriots are part of the Patriot militia movement--some real extremists). So they are the one's who originally organized the Tea Party protests (the very first ones). Like any idea that seems to be taking hold, someone stole it and improved upon it and used it as a cover for uber-conservative Republicans (or Republican's who know a good thing when they see it and label themselves, Tea Party -- Palin anyone?) So yeah, that's about all I know except, a woman, Amy something, wanted to check out the Tea Party Express and the Tea Party Patriots are suing/have sued her.
