I believe in living in a reality world. Street protests have not played a role in influencing policy since the 1960's, and in both the Civil Rights marches and the chicago riots, what had an impact was not the protests themselves but people seeing the Government's violent response. That's not going to happen with a couple thousand people marching around lower Manhattan.
